Hey guys, hope the week is going well for you. Today I’m just going to share with you a few of my fave food products from this month…how has June gone by so fast?!
First up are Quest bars. Argh you know, I hate liking a protein bar because I make my own and most are processed etc. But these really are different and not too bad in terms of ingredients so I make an exception. I’m not a fan of all of the flavours but cookie dough, cinnamon roll, peanut butter choc and brownie ones are winners. And the only way to do it is to microwave for a gooeyness or bake for a crunchy outer and soft inside. Try it. Don’t hate me if you get addicted
Oh and I tried the peanut butter cups they do – not a fan so stick with the bars
People were asking me where to get Quest bars from on my Instagram so, you can get them from iHerb although they don’t do all of the flavours like cookie dough (totally missing out…) and Predator Nutrition ship from the UK if you don’t want to deal with import taxes etc.
Second is these bad boys. They actually shouldn’t really be in my June favourites because well, I’ve been a fan since they first ever came out. But they just deserve another mention because they are so good. You can get these from Holland & Barrett or on their website
Thirdly is Nutiva’s coconut manna. I wanted to see what the difference was between this and Artisana’s coconut butter and actually, there is none really. I thought there was at first as it has a layer on top that’s a bit like a thicker coconut oil, but then once I got past that it was the same. Absolutely in love with coconut stuff at the moment <3 I got these from iHerb.
A protein product for you all is this vegan blend from MyProtein. I’m not really a fan of MyProtein’s products as they’re not great quality (hence the cheap prices) but this vegan stuff is very much like a cheaper version of SunWarrior. Fab for baking, great in smoothies. And like SunWarrior, not amazing just on it’s own in shake but it’s cleaner than other proteins if that’s what you’re looking for.
I’ve started ordering meat online in bulk because it’s cheaper and better quality than supermarkets. My fave so far has to be Athleat – great service, good price and their chilli chicken burgers just won it for me. They are huge and so gooood!!! Oh and I tried their beef jerky to see if I’d like red meat like that, um no. I’m sure if you like jerky though that you’d like theirs
So there you have it, my faves for June!
