Happy Friday lovelies!

Phew, I think I’ve finally recovered from feeling poorly. I thought I was better on Sunday but then Monday I felt even worse than before, not good when I had a presentation to do at uni as well as sitting through 60 others…This week has been really stressful with deadlines before the Easter break but I am now officially on Easter break for 3 weeks woohooo!!! Definitely very much needed, I always get signs when my body is just tired from life like getting ill, I also get eczema on my palms when I’m stressed (weird!) and my sleep and fitness is always affected too. So hopefully this break will give me that boost to see me through until Summer :)

Today I thought I’d share with you just a few things I’ve been purchased recently.

Earlier in the week I decided to try the new Meridian almond butter. They’ve just released a new line which has no palm oil in and it just purely nuts and sea salt. This is the reason why I’ve been buying Biona’s nut butters because they are just nuts but since Meridian is sold in Holland & Barrett it will be easier to get hold of to feed my current addiction :) IMG_3997
I also received a little iHerb order I made! It’s been ages since I’d bought anything from iHerb and I forgot how good it is! I decided to get a couple of bags of almond flour as we can’t get it here in the UK and also some Quest Cinnamon Roll bars. I must admit, I’ve tried the Chocolate Brownie and Chocolate Peanut Butter Quest bars and they were quite sickly but this Cinnamon Roll flavour is simply amazing! I really want to try their Choc Chip Cookie Dough flavour although they don’t sell it on iHerb..
Today I braced the freezing cold weather and headed into town to purchase a few little things to cheer me up to start off my Easter holiday. Also my wardrobe has space now that I am selling loads of stuff that doesn’t fit me on eBay so that only means I have to fill it back up right?! :)

H&M is one of my fave stores along with Zara for their minimalist clothing. I absolutely love this long shirt (I already have it in black no surprise…) and it’s only £12.99 which is a pretty decent price for something so versatile. I also picked up these brogues (my fave kind of shoe) which were reduced in the sale to only £7!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I pretty much always have my nails painted. It’s something that I started doing almost every 2 days when I was in hospital purely out of boredom and since then it’s just what I do. I have an entire professional’s big makeup box just full of polishes..you can never have too many colours to choose from right?! These really caught my eye in Urban Outfitters and they were 3 for £15 so it was meant to be :)
Oh and if you want to follow me on Instagram you’ll probably get to see more of what I’m doing behind the blog :)

i love H&M and Zara…Those shoes are so cute, i love your style. I just had the cinnamon roll quest bar last night, such a good flavor. Quest bars are amazing and i highly suggest warming it up in the micrwave for like 10 seconds :) seriously they become soft and gooey like cookie dough :)
    xo

  4. Oooh what treats! Love that nail polish, I like having my nails painted but get frustrated when it chips so quickly and I’m too lazy to keep painting them every few days.
Isn’t almond flour just ground almonds? You can get that in any supermarket. But, I found this UK site recently where you can bulk buy thing like almond/coconut flour, coconut oil, cocoa butter etc. and it works out pretty darn cheap. Thought you might be interested…http://www.realfoodstore.co.uk/organic-blanched-ground-almond-flour/

  5. Aah I had my eye on those brogues in H&M but didn’t want to spend £30 on them – definitely popping in today to see if they’re in the Brighton store! Enjoy the holidays! x

  6. I am totally venturing to H&M this weekend, I need some new blouses and shirts. It’s SO long since I did an iherb order…I’m going to have to soon! x

  7. I didn’t think the meridian nut butters had oil in them anyway?! I thought almond flour was just ground almonds too! This reminds me I need to do an iHerb order, running low on Sunwarrior! I do most of my shopping for clothes in urban outfitters and gap right now!

    • I’m not sure, I think they did because the stats have changed on the almond butter..I may be wrong. Actually, almond flour turns out to be finely ground almonds..I learn something new everyday! Still, we don’t tend to get them in big bags like in the US :)

      • Interesting, I’ve only had their almond butters before but they definitely never said palm oil on the label. Yeah that’s true, everything is bigger in the states!

  8. I honestly can’t stomach unnatural nut butters after eating the good stuff for so long. It just ain’t right! An I know how you feel about some of those quest bars, I thought both of the chocolate flavours were icky. You should try banana nut muffin though, it’s amazing!

  9. Love your shirt! Is there a difference between almond flour and ground almonds? I just thought they were the same thing? I’ve never heard of the Quest bars, I bought some luna bars when I was in London, haven’t had them in ages! Hope you are having a good weekend chick!

  10. I love iherb! It’s the only way I get the amazing US products I’m so deprived of in Singapore. And I love that top!
