  1. I thought I was the only person who liked carrots dipped in salsa! And I absolutely love that dress on you! Can you be my stylist, please? For some reason my jeans and hoodies don’t quite have the same flair as your clothing…

  2. That dress is lovely! I’ve been finishing off my decorating this week, I still have some finishing touches but the flat is looking so lovely I can’t wait to get some pics up on the blog! Looks like you’ve had a fun week :-)

  3. So, so pretty. I covet your style… and your hair :D And I can most definitely relate to eating veggies with salsa… actually, I think I just use the veggies as an excuse to eat massive amounts of salsa – that stuff is seriously like crack. This past week has actually involved a lot of movie-going and boy-seeing. No complaints there :P And the weekend has been pretty much solely devoted to decorating for Christmas. Squee! Now to start some Christmas shopping… eventually ;)

I love your nails! And your dress.

  5. Nicky its good to see you in such a healthy frame of mind! I’ve been following your blog ever since you started and am so inspired to see how far you have come. Your story is a very sad one indeed, and as someone who has also had their fair share of unhealthy food relationships, I can confidently say that you are inspiration to anyone who has ever suffered from an eating disorder. You may be skeptical sometimes but it is that skepticism precisely that makes you so down to earth and RELATABLE. An eating disorder is not something you recover from overnight, but not doesn’t mean its impossible. Looking at your story and perserverance, other girls begin to believe that they too can recover. Anyway I also wanted to say that I am so freaking excited to find someone who positively adores kabocha as much as I do! I get shaky when there are less than two kabocha squashes in the pantry. And can we just rejoice in the fact that it is squash season right now and that they’re being sold for next to nothing?! I am thisclose away from building a shrine to the almighty kabocha squash XD I’ve tried acorn and butternut but the deliciousness of kabocha remains undisputed. The only downside is that I’ve started to develop mild hypercarotenemia (turning slightly yellow) from eating so much! Has this ever happened to you? My mom is actually getting frustrated when I eat it now because she doesn’t want me to become even more yellow. Oh but it is oh so good. Can. Not. Stop.

  6. Aww Emma is the best card-sender, ever! We are lucky ladies :)

Love the salad – I’m obsessed with saurkraut at the moment, it’s so good – especially in toast sarnies! I’ve got a squash in my cupboard that I’m planning on roasting up tonight, yum.
