Gold Plated Nails and H&M Lookbook
And as always, your comments from my last post were just so touching. Thankyou so much from the bottom of my heart to each and every single one of you – I have taken all of your helpful advice into consideration and feel overwhelmed with your kind words.
As I mentioned though, yesterday was a really great day to cheer me up. It was one of my press outings kind of days which I do so love because it gets me out of the office seeing new exciting things in the world of fashion that will be in store for the Fall/Winter. There is also the little goodies along the way of course! Yesterday was a particularly good day for goodies which I only see as being my wage as an unpaid intern! After a manicure at OPI in the very nice Corinthia Hotel in London by the river, I managed to bag a large bottle of Marc Jacobs Lola perfume, dark chocolate, nail polishes, a designer scarf several vouchers for in stores…as well as my very own gold plated nail!
Me and my friend were each given one nail to be glued on for free by the up and coming new trend by new designer, Hannah Silius. She had alsorts of really cool metal nails, from tree branches to animals to plain ones like these. They will be available online next week and come at a not so cheap price of £45-£50 a nail!
One of my favorite press days during the day was the H&M one. I am a big fan of H&M at the moment…admittedly I thought it was going through a rough patch of some not so nice stuff a couple of years ago but it has definitely redeemed itself again and the coming season is no exception.

I thought it’d be nice to show you guys what the press get to see before you see it in the stores from their lookbook images I was given rather than the images I took from holding the items up on the rails!

This look is my ultimate fave. It is just me all over really.

Another fave look here!
The necklace in this look was the first thing I saw when I walked into the room. I must have it!!

So beautiful. And as always, I love the colors that will be in for Fall Winter..so much more my tones than the summer ones!
