Three Things Thursday

I’ve always believed in taking things day by day. We all have good and bad days but we can at least start the day believing that we can start a fresh and make it better than yesterday in some way.

I took this from some artists’ work for Nike with their new ‘make it count’ theme at Boxpark in Shoreditch. I love it round there because there is seriously some inspiring art everywhere you go round East London.

Now, whilst I am not really a runner, I have this mindframe for life in general.

Today was an absolutely disgustingly wet day in London. Think thunder showers, the drowned rat look (looks impressive when you’re going to press days, I tell you). But despite the weather, I decided to create my own sunshine with a bright tee. Not something I do often but once in a while you should try it ;)

Wearing yellow is the best way to create your own sunshine. I don’t own any, but when I used to I know it worked!

  3. These are such great quotes! I love the bright teeshirt, it looks great on you. In fact the whole outfit looks great on you! :)

Love the quote – I want a printed copy to hang up! – and love your outfit! You look so fabulous :)

  5. Haha, I actually tweeted that exact thing yesterday – that I needed to make my own sunshine. I made mine by painting my toes a lovely bright coral colour, it cheered me up no end!

I always do that! Dark murky days I pull out my lovely red tights or a bright floral dress; when it’s hot and icky, I find I slouch back into darker colors; it’s so hard sometimes to wear colors with everything clashing, but I always feel so chirpy once I’m covered in at least one shade of exploding color.
